The TCCC course introduces evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield and tactical EMS situations. Courses are conducted under the auspices of prehospital trauma education. All courses are fully compliant with the Department of Defense’s Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) guidelines and endorsed by the American College of Surgeons.
PFC course covers critical care for the medical or trauma patient and the evacuation process while operating in an undeveloped operational environment with extended evacuation times. Enhanced capabilities will be derived from interpretation of laboratory, diagnostic, monitoring and pre-mission planning considerations. Advanced patient management techniques will be addressed as observed in recent theaters of operations and trends throughout various medical communities. In depth instruction of subjects will be through didactic presentations, skills stations, and an extensive culmination exercise.
Emergency Medical Technicians provide out of hospital emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical services (EMS) system. EMTs have the basic knowledge and skills necessary to stabilize and safely transport patients ranging from non-emergency and routine medical transports to life threatening emergencies. Emergency Medical Technicians function as part of a comprehensive EMS response system, under medical oversight. Emergency Medical Technicians perform interventions with the basic equipment typically found on an ambulance. Emergency Medical Technicians are a critical link between the scene of an emergency and the health care system. Successful completion of a state-approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course that meets or exceeds the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards for the Emergency Medical Technician.
Special Operations Medical Transition Course. The "bridge course" prepares current SOCOM Advanced Tactical Paramedics to prepare for and be successful on the NREMT-Paramedic Exam. The course concludes with the NR Practical Exam and scheduling for the CBT written exam.
The AHA BLS Provider course is a CPR class that is designed to train healthcare and non healthcare professionals on recognizing and responding to several life-threatening emergencies. Skills include: Providing CPR for adults, children and infants, using an Automated External Defibrillator and relieving choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.
The AHA ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
